CO-FOUNDER & GENERAL PARTNER TRANSPOSE PLATFORM

Trang Nguyen co-founded Transpose Platform (www.transposeplatform.vc) in 2015 and led all of the firm’s developments since inception. Transpose seeks to back ambitious entrepreneurs, many of whom are creating some of today’s most disruptive venture structures, while it also strives to bridge the diversity gap in VC. Transpose Platform seeks out some of the world’s most innovative companies and aims to invest in what it believes are tomorrow’s category-defining leaders. 

Trang was also a former operator and executive member of Trusted Insight, where she worked closely with engineers, ran products and pricing, developed the very first partnerships for TI with Fortune 500 corporations with a focus in Japan and US, and grew an institutional LP community for the platform. Trang launched multiple LP products and features on Trusted Insight to increase user engagements and scale the LP network on the platform to over 35,000+ LP members. Trang hired the President of Trusted Insight and remains an advisor to Trusted Insight. 

Prior to Transpose Platform Management, Trang spearheaded the investment initiatives and managing portfolios of both endowment and corporate money for Sutter Health for a total of $9B+

Earlier in her career, she also traded and ran a $1B credit portfolio and held various investment and marketing roles at Merrill Lynch, Visa, Bank of New York Mellon, and startups. Trang earned an MBA from UC San Diego with a fellowship and received a departmental honor (top of finance department) in her undergrad.
