JASPER SCHULTE

DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING AT GETIR

Jasper Schulte started his career as an entrepreneur. Leading his business for 10 years through continuous growth he learned how to build an engineering organisation that lasts. After his exit, he took engineering leadership positions at several companies, big (TripAdvisor) and small (SnappCar). His current position is Director of Engineering at Getir. He was part of the hypergrowth going from a technology department of 80 at the start of ’21, to the current headcount of approx. 800

Next to being an engineering leader, Jasper is a professional skydiver and a pilot. As a skydiver, he has approx. 1000 jumps and became European Champion with his Formation Skydiving team in 2009. As a pilot, he has his Private Pilot License. I guess you could say Jasper loves to spend his time up in the sky.

As a result of his experience skydiving and piloting planes, Jasper is fascinated by the concept of failure and reducing risk, and loves to apply his learnings to his engineering organisations.
